I always dreamed of that decent overland journey down to india since I was a child. Probably because my uncle was part of the trail, back in the 70s. he went down with an old vw bus when the shah was still in power in persia. well, that story fascinated me... even as a 10yrs old child.

as I got older I said to myself: "some time, you're gonna do it"... and just half a year ago I thought so. I couldn't imagine that it's gonna be happnin so soon.

so well, my name is andi, I'm a 23 yrs old austrian who studies sociology at the university of graz. I'm gonna take the next term off because of the trip. I'm pretty well travelled, but usually a proper backpacker. spend a few months in india already and cannae wait to get back to that fascinating country.

the one I'm travelling with is my brother stefan. he's one out of three brother I've got. and I think he's got an early middle life crisis the now. he's already 32. and he's workin since fucking ages and it definitly was time to say : "fuck it, let's go for a few months".

and that's basically what we gonna do.
